Boiler Relocated From Bedroom to Kitchen, Bristol

The Brief

A family in Bristol needed their boiler moved from a bedroom to the kitchen. The bedroom was about to become a nursery, and they wanted the boiler out of the room before their baby moved in. Having been let down previously, they were keen to work with a company that would respond promptly and keep them informed throughout.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Responded quickly and visited that evening: We got back to the family almost straight away and visited the same evening to assess the boiler and the new location in the kitchen.
• Provided a written quote the next day: After the visit we followed up with a clear quote the following day, so the family knew exactly where they stood before any work began.
• Relocated the boiler to the kitchen: Safely disconnected the boiler and carried out the pipework and connections needed to refit it in its new position in the kitchen, all completed by our Gas Safe registered engineer.
• Worked considerately around the household: We kept disruption to a minimum and worked considerately around the home, including around a napping baby.
• Recommissioned and tested: The boiler was recommissioned and tested in its new location to confirm it was running safely and correctly.
• Kept the customer updated throughout: The family were kept informed at every stage, from the first evening visit through to completion.

The Result

The boiler is now in the kitchen, out of the room that has become the nursery. The relocation was completed within a week of the first visit, with clear communication from start to finish. After being let down previously, the family had a responsive, reassuring experience and a heating system ready for the room's new purpose.
